Amy’s debut album hits the stores todayPosted on July 30th, 2007 @ 11:05 am
For those of you that have not bought the album online or simply want to own a solid copy you can now buy “This Is the Life” from the stores.
Amy’s first studio album has been long anticipated and well received by the fans. It has eleven tracks including the early singles “Mr. Rock & Roll” and “Poison Prince”.
Here is what The Sunday Times (www.timesonline.co.uk) had to say about the new album:
“Macdonald is a young woman with a big acoustic and a powerful voice. Touted as the new KT Tunstall, she has been fast-tracked through bars and clubs via the power of social network sites such as Bebo and a sympathetic Radio 2.[…]Her debut album crackles with enthusiasm and teenage zeal, not least on the idealistic title track and Let’s Start a Band.[…]”
Radio 2 has proclaimed “This Is the Life” as album of the week and has added all the tracks to the radio’s playlist. You can listen to Amy’s songs everyday if you tune in to Radio 2.
You can download two recordings of “This Is the Life” and “Youth of Today” from Amy’s show at W14. After you buy the album just insert it into your CD or DVD and go to http://www.pushentertainment.com/info/
If you want to own a copy and you live in Scotland you can buy it from HMV. The albums comes in a special slipcase available only to Scottish fans.
And of course you can buy the album from iTunes.
